There is a concern of employability of commerce, engineering & business management students in India, on the want of life skills & industry-oriented skills. Programs like ‘Campus to Corporate’ also do not cover the necessary skills like Emotional Intelligence, Behavioural Intelligence & People Skills which are pre-requisites for the corporate career.
It is an endeavour of MasterMyLife EQ Education (MML) to educate the graduates in these necessary life & employability skills, resulting into lack of good earning & career opportunities for them in the major industry sectors.
Semester 3 – Induction Program
The Batch of 2018-2020 got promoted into the second year of Masters in Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations/Life Coaching for which the Induction Program was held on 10th June’19 conducted by the Student Body Team and MML Management. The Program was attended by Students, Faculties, Director – GICED & MML and Parents.
The Faculty Introduction, Academic Calendar and the felicitation of Non-Academic Achievers successfully took place.
MasterMyLife Library was also inaugurated by the Director of MML, ‘Mr.Hemant Lawanghare’ & Director GICED, ‘Dr.Gajre’. It has 200+ books in print on various domains (Emotional Intelligence, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Behavioral Intelligence, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communication, Life Coaching, Employee Engagement, Strategic Human Resource Development, Anthropology, Succession Planning, etc.)
MasterMyLife inaugurated one of its flagship event ‘UTKRUSHT’ organized by the Event Management Team & Corporate Relations Team of MML held on 27th July’19. The Aim of UTKRUSHT is creating an impact of Millennial Leadership by Infusing Classical Management and Emotional Intelligence.
The theme of the event was “Corporate Sutra: Leadership Development for Higher Performance”

Internship Presentation Batch 2017-19
Our students of Batch 2017-19 created a presentation over their 2 months of working experience as an Intern. The 100 mark evaluation for the same was executed by the domain experts from the Corporate World (Mr.Sanjiv Lahiri, L&D Head, GRP India Ltd, Dr.Nitin Mayekar, Genetic Pvt Ltd, Mr.Vikrant Joshi, Corporate Communication Head, Mumbai Metro, Ms.Vinney Pillai, Corporate Communication Head, Mumbai Aiport Pvt.Ltd, Mr.Raj GopalanH.R Head,Reliance India Pvt,Ltd.)
The students gave a detailed presentation over the projects, assignments which they accomplished, challenges they faced and how they used the knowledge and experience gained from the program to their advantage.
Management Development Program – Human Process Lab
The Executive Management Team of MasterMyLife attended a three-day “Human Process Lab” from 19-21 October 2018 as part of the institutes Management Development Program pedagogy. The Human Process Lab, conducted by volunteers of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science, is a semi-structured learning lab, an experimental safe space, for participants to look at self through various lenses. Across the three days, the facilitators’ Ms. Payal Gupta, Ms. Kesha Kapadia, and Ms. Jaya Nuty organized a mix of structured activities, unstructured discussions and sharing of learnings between the participants.
Enhancing Employability Through EI
Second year students of MasterMy Life / Mumbai University’s Masters in Emotional Intelligence Program as a team have designed experiential, activity-based seminars for the final year students of colleges across Mumbai titled “Enhancing Employability through Emotional Intelligence”. The objective of conducting these seminars is to create awareness about the importance of Emotional Intelligence in today’s VUCA world, to add value in the personal and upcoming professional lives of students, and to help students create an alignment of long term and short terms goals along with understanding the power of teams.
HR Federation of India Conference
The HR Federation of India (HRFI) in partnership with MasterMyLife EQ Education Pvt Ltd (MML) organized a Seminar on 11th August 2018 at University of Mumbai’s Kalina Campus for almost 200 HR professionals from the Corporate World. With the aim of bridging the gap between the expectations of the corporate world and the educational accomplishments and deepening the understanding of Human Relations in the corporate world, this seminar dealt with topics that ranged from “Leading a Transformational Journey Professionally” to, “The Power of Conversations”, to critical topics such as,“POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act for Women at Workplace”, to, “How to Build a thriving Enterprise with the World Class Employee Experience”.
Outbound Training Program
The 2017 – 2019 and 2018 – 2020 Student batches of MasterMyLife (MML) along with the Faculty and Management of the Institute participated in MML’s outbound training program at Pawana Lake – a picturesque beauty on the outskirts of Lonavala. Experiential & group learning is at the core of MML’s pedagogy. It is MMLs endeavor to make learning more interesting and connecting. The main motives of this Outbound Training Trip and Activities conducted during the Training were building connect among new batch mates and with senior batch mates, developing trust and transparency, taking ownership and accepting other’s limitations and uniqueness.
Campus to Corporate Program for Graduates
A half-day Campus to Corporate program for MBA degree aspirants was conducted at the MU Kalina campus, in association with Brightways coaching. It was attended by more than 500 MBA aspirants and students benefited from various sessions conducted by industry executives and MML faculty.
Faculty Development Program at Mumbai
Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Innovative Teaching Methodologies and Application of Emotional Intelligence in Education. This one-day FDP was attended by 75 faculty members from 25 colleges across the Mumbai region. The FDP was focused on how to adapt Innovative Teaching Methodologies in teaching while connecting with millennials, how to inculcate and practice Emotional Intelligence (EI) in education, and how to use mind mapping effectively to create effective learning spaces and summarise complex concepts simplistically.
1st Time in India – Emotional & Behavioral Intelligence Conference
India’s first conference on Emotional Intelligence and Behavioral Intelligence sees corporates, faculty and students from all over Mumbai. It was held at the Nanotechnology Auditorium, MU’s Kalina Campus, on 24 February 2018. This conference was attended by over 300 people from colleges and corporates across the Mumbai region. The focus was on spreading awareness about emotional and behavioral intelligence, its importance and how we can use it in our personal and professional life, as well as, appreciating talent in students by conducting emotional intelligence role plays, presentations and cultural activities by the students.
