It is no secret that the world around us is both dynamic and demanding and the threshold levels to accept such volatile and vibrant changes could prove to be challenging both in one's personal and professional world. The professional environment is a complex jigsaw and there are few who have the tenacity and technicality to embrace such vibrant changes.
Second year students of MasterMy Life / Mumbai University’s Masters in Emotional Intelligence Program as a team have designed experiential, activity-based seminars for the final year students of colleges across Mumbai titled “Enhancing Employability through Emotional Intelligence”. The objective of conducting these seminars is to create awareness about the importance of Emotional Intelligence in today’s VUCA world, to add value in the personal and upcoming professional lives of students, and to help students create an alignment of long term and short terms goals along with understanding the power of teams.
Students are benefiting from workshops designed on the following topics:
- Application of Emotional Intelligence in Daily Life.
- Value Hierarchy and Goal Setting.
- Combating Dysfunction of a team through Emotional Intelligence.
These workshops have already been conducted in some of the top colleges of Mumbai like Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Kandivali Education Society, Bhavan’s College. Upcoming workshops are planned in Lord’s Universal College, Thakur College of Arts and Commerce, R.D National College, HR College of Commerce and Economics, Nirmala Niketan College and many more!
